箱根芦ノ湖 Hotel Rakuun - Hakone

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Hakone. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from the beautiful lake, where I captured some fine pictures. Plus, it was within walking distance to the town, making it convenient for exploring. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight of my stay was the relaxing onsen, which helped me unwind and rejuvenate. The staff, especially the English-speaking gentleman, was kind and helpful throughout my visit. I highly recommend this hotel for a road trip weekend away from the city.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled on a mountain, offering breathtaking views. The staff were incredibly friendly, allowing us to leave our luggage early and providing helpful bus instructions in English. The rooms, especially those on the ground floor, were spacious and well-maintained. The breakfast, served promptly at 8.15am, was a delightful mix of Japanese and Western options, catering to all tastes.

No major issues, everything was more than satisfactory.

We stayed at a hotel during Christmas time and really appreciated the great service provided by the staff. They were very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance with bus directions in English. the breakfast was a highlight as it offered both Western and Japanese options, making it a great start to our day. the onsen was also small but nice and relaxing. It was great that they provided kimonos for us to wear to the spa.

The location of the hotel made it difficult to get to town easily. the bus stop was either a 5 minute walk uphill or downhill.

Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast, and enjoyable Onsen.

The basic amenities were sufficient and the rooms on the ground floor had wonderful views. I also loved that breakfast was served at 8.15am, allowing me to start my day early without feeling rushed.
